Senior & Managing Editor
Previously co-host host of The Means of Production, Andrew loves writing about history, children's cartoons, and absurd conspiracy theories. In his free time, Andrew enjoys getting concussions in the pursuit of a slippery black cylinder and playing overly-complicated pretend.
Quinn Satterlund

Quinn joined the Raven Review Staff sophomore year, and is looking forward to writing articles more for Raven Review! He is a Senior at CCA and is a returning staff member. Quinn enjoys listening to musical artists, such as Weiland, Bladee, and Playboi Carti. In his free time, he enjoys making beats and cooking. He also has a pet cat named Madonna! Quinn is a Libra, and his preferred milk choice is Lactaid.

Krishna Nagarajan
Krishna is a senior and assistant editor-in-chief for the Raven Review. He's a Gemini, and his favorite musical artists are Drake, Tyler the Creator, and Kali Uchis. He's not a fan of milk (lactose intolerant), but he loves basketball and soccer (his teams are the Golden State Warriors and Arsenal, respectively). He also loves music, from producing his own to playing the piano.
Maddie Tresse
Senior & Sports Co-Editor
Maddie Tresse is a senior and a new Sports Editor for the Raven Review. She is involved in field hockey and lacrosse at CCA, as well as PALs! She enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and hanging out with friends/mom in her free time. Her favorite artists include Lorde, Declan Mckenna, and Stephen Sanchez. Her star sign is Gemini and she prefers regular milk.
Lake Mallery
Senior & Sports Co-Editor
Lake is a senior and this is her first year as a sports editor for the newspaper staff. This past year, she was captain of CCA’s field hockey team and is soon starting her second season as lacrosse captain. In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog and going to the beach. Her favorite artists are Mac Demarco, Lana Del Rey, and Flume.
Zoe Truong
Junior & News Editor
Zoe is a junior excited to return to the school’s publication for her second year! She loves anything published by Ocean Vuong and Joan Didion – her favorite book being On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by the former. Her other commitments include Humanities Conservatory, Speech and Debate, and the Unconfined Project. In her free time, she enjoys reading, collecting books, and staying in with a cup of coffee or tea while watching TV. Every type of dairy milk is consumed by her, but she specifically likes 2%. Unfortunately, she’s allergic to school.

Hayden is a junior at CCA and this is her first year on the Raven Review staff! In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends, read, and go to the beach. She is a Libra and her favorite music artists are The Strokes, Kid Cudi, and Elliott Smith.
Sophie Shi

Sophie is a senior at CCA and copy editor of its new newspaper, the Raven Review. This is her second semester in Advanced Journalism, which she joined because she always had an interest in writing and there was a lot of flexibility in being able to write about different issues and topics. Some of her favorite movies include How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Proposal, and Beauty and the Beast. She likes reading, traveling with friends and family, and trying new boba places! She’s a Gemini and her favorite (or at least most commonly bought) milk type is 2% reduced-fat milk. One random fact about her is that she is allergic to rubbing sunscreen.
Tegan Inns
Sophomore & Advertising Manager
Tegan is a sophomore at CCA and it is her first year with the Raven Review. She is a member of the CCA beach volleyball team. In her free time she enjoys passing time at the beach, playing the guitar, and listening to music. Some of her favorite artists include Leon Bridges, Mac Miller, and Frank Ocean. She is a Capricorn, has a dog named Callie, and her favorite milk is almond milk.

Jadyn is in her junior year at CCA and is the feature editor for Raven Review. This is her first semester on staff for Raven Review. In her free time, she participates in field hockey and lacrosse and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is also a Libra and prefers almond milk!
Bella Posel
Junior & Entertainment Co-Editor
Bella is a junior in her second year working on CCA publications. She loves horror, cats, sewing (CreaturesByBella on Instagram), and talking about the shows she’s watching. Her favorite milk is non-fat, and she loves the Coen brothers’ movies, The Walking Dead, and The Mountain Goats.
Sydney Applbaum

Sydney is a junior at CCA and a co-entertainment editor of the Raven Review! In her free time, Sydney loves watching movies, her favorites being The Notebook, La La Land, and The Hunger Games. Additionally, she tutors kids in English, works as a published author intern, and is co-president of CCAPAWS4CAUSE ! Her Ins for 2024 involve starting her own book drive and going to the beach more, and her Outs are spending ridiculous amounts of money on clothes and coffee. Sydney has no interest in milk at all, but frozen yogurt is in her top 5 food groups!

Abby is a junior and it is her first year working as a staff for Raven Review! In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, podcasts, and baking. Her favorite artists at the moment include Cocteau Twins, Sugar Plant, Nujabes, and Drop Nineteens! For podcasts, her favorite by far is Emergency Intercom. Abby’s is a Sagittarius, and her favorite milk is 2% milk!
Sage Park
Junior & Creative Director
Sage is a Junior at CCA, and this is her second year on the newspaper staff. She is thrilled to be The Raven Review’s new Creative Director. She loves listening to music, and some of her favorite artists are Taylor Swift, NewJeans, and Lamp. Sage loves sketching her environment in her free time and is also in Visual Arts Conservatory. Oat milk is her favorite kind of milk. When she's not sketching or writing she likes to shop, play ukulele, and walk her dog Mocha.
Ava Daniels
Sophomore & Website Manager
Ava is currently in her sophomore year at CCA and it is her first year working for the Raven Review. She has two cats, a Siamese named Diva and a Bengal named Sumi, two dogs, a Pit named Happy and a Corgi Pit named Lucy. She listens to musicians such as Sabrina Carpenter, Neoni, etc, and loves reading, writing, and spending time with her family. She is a Capricorn and likes chocolate milk.
Diana Gomes

Diana is a 16 year old junior. This is her first semester working on the newspaper. Diana is a professional fencer who has been competing for 8 years and she recently started going to international competitions. She also plays piano and is an avid reader. She is currently reading The Idiot (in original russian) and Dune, however her favorite book of all time is Lord of the Rings. Lately, her favorite artist has been Radiohead, but she listens to new wave and classical music as well. Her favorite drink is Kvass, an eastern european drink fermented from dried rye bread (it sounds gross but tastes really good). She is excited to be an official part of the school newspaper and continue publishing!

Annie is a senior at CCA, and it is her first time as a staff member on the Raven Review. She likes piano, digital art, and creative writing. She hopes that she can cover more stories on activities around CCA, and write about some of the clubs that are present on campus.
Julia Piekarski

Julia is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy and a staff writer for the Raven Review. In her free time, she enjoys driving by the beach, listening to music, and karaoke with her friends. Julia is very passionate about fashion and uses that as an excuse to justify her shopping addiction. When she isn’t at the beach or thrifting, you could find Julia on the varsity softball field. Fun Fact: Julias favorite dairy product is currently greek yogurt.
Kloe Gillespie

Kloe Gillespie is a Sophomore at CCA and this is her first year on Raven Review. She plays on the School Field Hockey team as well as Myto Field Hockey. She is also a part of the scientella club. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, listening to music, and reading. Kloe’s favorite artist is Beabadoobee. Her favorite milk is whole milk. And fun fact, she grew up in Fort Lauderdale!
Hanaka Oyama

Hanaka is a senior and this is her first year on the Raven
Review staff! She loves watching films (some of her favorites
include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Chungking
Express, and Aftersun), listening to lots of music (she loves the
Cranberries, Panchiko, Yo La Tengo, Radiohead, the Cure,
Slowdive, and the Smiths), and hanging out with her friends.
Hanaka also loves drawing and art, and hopes to pursue her
dreams at art school. She’s not a big fan of milk on its own, but
loves frozen yogurt and hot chocolate!
